How to make and submit a BlogSpot blog sitemap to Google

Using BlogSpot? Then you obviously need to have verified your blog,if not don’t worry I will show how exactly to so that and also how to submit your BlogSpot blog sitemap to Google.

Step-1-BlogSpot verification
If you are login to your Google account simply click on the My setting line on the top right hand side of your Google homepage and go to My account settings.

Click on Webmaster Tools
Click on add a site and then enter you blogs name.
Then add the code that you are given to your blogs template by going to your blogs layout–>>Edit html

Once you have added the code simply click on verify and you will get message .
Step-2-Make and submit a sitemap for BlogSpot blog
Now since you have verified your BlogSpot blog,you will see it in your Google webmaster tools section.
Click on the blog that you just verified.
On the lower right hand side of your webmaster’s section you will see Submit a sitemap.
Click on submit a sitemap.
Now you will a web address something h**p://yourblog.blogspot.com/-emtybox/
In the empty box copy paste the following code.

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=100

Copy this code and paste it in the  empty box that says
Voila  you just sbmitted your blogspot sitemap to google.
Note:-This method of submitting your blogspot sitemap only works for first 100 url’s(posts) in your blogpost blog.
So if you happen to have more then 100 posts in your blog simply repeat the process and submit the sitemap for next 100 posts by simply changing the number 1 to 101 and 100 to 200 in the above code.
